Our take on Day X podcast
More often than not, cases of terrorism and threats from terrorists come from outside the borders. However, it is a totally different case when it comes from within. Day X looks into the far-right movements in Germany and specifically the story of Franco A. He is a former German military officer who once lived a double life by faking a Syrian refugee identity. Franco A. is accused of planning to bring down the German government and is the only person from a far-right network standing trial since he was arrested with a loaded gun in an airport bathroom. Day X was a code name for a day Franco A and his allies believed German democracy would collapse, and they were preparing for it. Producer
